Web Developer

My name is Robert Herring. I first used a computer in 1988, but as a first grader I didn’t realize their potential. I didn’t get serious about them until my dad brought home our first one in 1997. It was then, in September of ‘97 that I built my first website, and though it wasn’t the most amazing site ever created... it was a close second. From there, I got into design. It was the marriage of design and code where I really found my calling. The ability to code was fun, but making my projects look great and stand out in the crowd was the best and most rewarding.

Marketing Specialist:
IMCS in Irmo, 2017 - Present

Maintain the corporate website, produce and edit corporate videos, design product packaging, design conference booths, design printed material for conferences and sales reps.

Lead Web Developer in Marketing:
GIS in Chapin, 2014 - 2017

Designed and developed GIS‘s entire responsive website from the ground up. Worked with high profile clients designing the interface for their onboarding portals, and Filmed and produced several in house videos.

Lead Developer:
The Para Firm in Columbia, 2012 - 2013

Developed high end websites that includes E-Commerce and Parallax websites, as well as developed an in-house iPad app, using xCode, used to sell TPF‘s marketing solution.

Freelance Web Dev / design:
Lexington, 2011 - 2012

Developed interactive Flash sites, Website Mockups and Wireframes, Marketing Campaigns, Print Ads, Web Banners, and Motion Graphics.

Designed software from the ground up to allow full functionality on both Windows and Mac using Flash AS3 for the Adobe AIR Platform.

Disciple Christian MC is the fastest growing, and largest christian motorcycle club globaly.

I completely designed and developed this entire site in just under a three months using the latest methods in jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and Shopify as an ecommerce backbone.

General Information Services is one of the largest background check companies in America. Using the latest methods in jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3, I was able to develop a state of the art, resposive website.

I completely designed and developed this entire site in just under a year.

Frontline Arsenal went from earning twenty thousand dollars a month in sales, to over one hundred thousand dollars in sales in a single month after we built their new site.
